“Hit and Run”

This is a true story... This method of gambling won’t be found in any professional tip book, but it works. It’s fun...and this really happened.

Rob ( my husband) and I were staying at the RIO and really having a great time. The accommodations were gorgeous and the food excellent. I decided to go for a swim. The pools at the Rio are beautiful. One is in the configuration of a large angelfish and the other has a beach of sand that continues into the pool. Lovely fountains and waterfalls make this an enchanting oasis.

I changed into my suit and cover-up and headed downstairs to the pool. I walked past the tables and had no intention of gambling. I had a lovely swim and on the way back to my room I was drawn to the craps table by the chatter and laughter. I lingered and watched the rhythm of the table for awhile. I decided to dabble a little. I placed a $5 bet on the pass line and rolled the dice and got my point. I put out $5 odds and $5 on "come". I rolled again and got a number put out another come bet etc. I placed a 6 and 8 bet and I immediately rolled a 6 followed by an 8 and I left the bets stand. Then, I doubled all my odds and rolled and rolled.

I pulled every number I had out on the board and then I made my point. WOW! It was exciting and all this happened in 8 minutes. I had won $180. and my hair was still damp from swimming. This was more invigorating than the swim. Next, I stopped. That’s the difficult thing about gambling. But, I took my winnings and Ran. Hit them, win and run. What a rush!
